On our wedding anniversary, and being in a relationship together for 19 years, I thought it will be a good idea to share some of our relationship tips.
————————————
-
- We both know that arguments are inescapable, however they are healthy as long as we keep them short
- We spend time, as much as we can, on common hobbies. If you don’t have a common hobby with your partner FIND ONE! – Watching movies together is NOT a Hobby!
- Every now and then we try something completely new for us
- We respect each other’s opinion, especially when they are completely different opinions
- Every year on our wedding anniversary we set a new goal together, we even set a goal which sounds unrealistic at that time
- We Read books together
- We Don’t push hard or force to change each other’s certain habits, unless the significant other expresses that is willing to change
- We value each other’s skills
- We encourage each other to go and meet friends from time to time to spend time separately without their partner.
- If something is bothering us in our relationship we immediately take action, because we believe the more we procrastinate to discuss about the issue the longer will take to solve
- We Help each other grow to become a better version of ourselves
- A house and a home is a shared space and the responsibility of both men and women to maintain it, not only a wife’s role
- Understand the other without asking too many questions. Trust the facial and body language
- We encourage each other to get out of our comfort zones
