1 – Know exactly what is your goal – Don’t just say I want to lose weight, Say I want to weigh xx kg by this specific date
2 – You must be able to explain your goal in 3 words – If someone asks you about your goal, you must be able to tell them in 3 exciting words, and not sentences
3 – You must have a strong “WHY”, for why you want to achieve your goal – This Why will be your drive to continue working on your goal, especially during tough times
4 – What Price are you willing to pay – I’m not talking about money in particular, it can be time dedication, or taking a break from your social life, stop eating certain foods and so on, depending on the type of your goal, but there must be a price to pay to reach your goal. Know clearly the Price and be ready to pay
5 – Talk to people about your goal – Tell people with excitement about the goal you are working on, unless it is something personal, then in that case talk to yourself LOUDLY in front of the mirror. It is very important to hear what you say through your own voice
6 – Write it down – Write it somewhere you see the most every day, I suggest to write your goal and save it on your phone home screen, so that every time you check your phone, you will be reminded of your goal, and probably you check your phone everyday more than 100 times
7 – Talk in present tense – When you talk about your goal to others or to yourself talk in present tense, for example if you are now 70 kg and want to lose 10 kg by Feb 27, you should say I weigh 60 kg by Feb 27
8 – Enjoy Being out of your Comfort Zone – When you need to take steps or actions which will Take you out of your comfort zone, remind yourself point No 3, Your Strong WHY
9 – Enjoy the journey towards your goal – Try to enjoy the journey, because at the end of the day, when you achieve your goal, you will remember the journey and not the goal which has been achieved
10 – Celebrate mini accomplishments – No goal can be achieved in 1 Big step. Set small steps, and next to each step mention the reward you will treat yourself, since you will be a step forward towards achieving your goal
